Rah! Rah! Sis! Boom! Bah!

I didn't give Halloween much thought this year and the girls ended up going as cheerleaders.  Halloween isn't as much fun in MT when you have to make sure a snow suit will fit under the costume.  Well, maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration, but it was pretty cold.  We definitely needed long sleeves and pants, and a coat and mittens towards the end. It was still fun though!

Cousins James and Alexa were the cutest Little Red Riding Hood and Big Bad Wold ever!

The Loot!

Scarecrow cupcakes!

Jack-o-lanterns

And, I thought I'd throw in Syd's first grade picture.

Sydney is 7!!!!

Here is a brief overview of a few of the fun things we did this summer.  The girls spent a lot of time running through sprinklers and just playing in the yard.  Here they were getting messy blowing/throwing colored bubbles on each other.

This day we were up on the reservoir and found this log floating vertically in the water.

Earlier this summer my Grandparents, Frank and Dawn came to visit.

Funny faces all around!

More time on the reservoir!  My favorite place!

Then all too soon it was time for school to start.

We're having a beautiful fall, and managed to get in one last float!

And last but not least, believe it or not, Sydney is now 7 yrs old!  The cake is leaning after an almost tragic accident where the whole top part fell off! :-)

Here are the froggy cake pops she brought to school on her actual birthday.

And the rejects!

Summer Variety

It's been 3 long months since my last post.  Since then we've moved into our new house and have just been busy enjoying the summer!

Shortly after moving in we had a HUGE windstorm and ended up having 12 trees blow over!  It was a lot to clean up but we'll have lot's of fire wood for the winter.

My dad and I putting together the girls' "park" as they call it.

We went to a summer regional conference in big sky for Edward Jones.  One night at dinner they had a photo booth that the girls had way too much fun with.

Doesn't Bella look like a little old lady!

This was one of the first ones and Bella hadn't yet figured out she needed to sit up higher.

Here we were camping for Jess's big 30th birthday!

Some of our college friends, Mamie and Jeremy came to town a couple days ago with their beautiful triplets, Jasmine, Alexis, and Olivia and their sweet new baby boy Jaxon.  Bella was in love with Jaxon and kept saying she wished he was hers.  So sorry little girl, no such luck! :-)

Well, that's about it for now.  I'm gonna try to not let quite as much time go between posts! We'll see about that.

Spring Skiing

The girls had their last ski lesson and they had a little bbq and race. It was such a beautiful day!  I love spring skiing, but Jess and I didn't end up skiing cuz we were afraid we'd miss the race.  It turned out to not really be much of a "race" but cute to watch anyway.  It was so much fun to see how far they've come.  They are gonna be great little skiers!

Not So Recent Pics

Finally a few pics.  I was having trouble getting my recent pictures to upload so now.... they aren't that recent but blog worthy anyway I thought.

Bella turned 3 on new years eve and we had an ice skating penguin themed party.

Bella slept through the beginning of her own party.

The birthday girls.  Leslie's daughter Karsyn also has a new years eve birthday.  She turned 10.

The moms with their birthday girls.

Syd and Bells are in ski lessons on Sundays so Jess and I get some free time to do some skiing of our own and it's been awesome!  A couple weekends ago the skiing was perfect and the views were amazing!
